Care that follows your child's development

Pediatric visits provide time to review growth, discuss development, and raise questions about nutrition, sleep, behavior, or everyday health. Preventive care also includes reviewing immunization records and identifying screening needs with the clinician.

For children living with an ongoing condition, bring the existing care plan and information about other clinicians involved. The goal is to keep the next steps clear for parents and caregivers and to identify when specialist care is needed.

Visits for childhood health concerns

Our pediatric service includes evaluation of common childhood illnesses and concerns such as ear problems, respiratory symptoms, allergies, and asthma. The examination guides recommendations; a symptom does not always require the same medicine or treatment as a previous illness.

When calling, describe any symptoms and how long they have been present. Ask whether a routine office appointment is appropriate. A scheduled pediatric visit is not a substitute for emergency care when a child is seriously unwell.
